Giovedì 23 giugno uscirà nei cinema italiani “Jem e le Holograms“, film ispirato all’omonima serie animata, andata in onda negli anni ’80, che vede la protagonista Jerrica (Aubrey Peeples) passare da semplice ragazza di provincia a diventare una star della musica.
Hilary Duff ha cantato una versione del brano “Youngblood” insieme alla band del film “Jem e le Holograms” presente nella colonna sonora della pellicola.
Oltre a “Youngblood“, la colonna sonora, distribuita dalla Republic Records e intitolata “Jem and the Holograms (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)”, comprende 13 brani, di cui 7 cantanti dalla band del film.
Hilary Duff, sul film distribuito da Universal Pictures, ha dichiarato: “Mi rivedo molto nel personaggio di Jem, perché ci sono passata anch’io da ragazza“.
